Mr. Dan Mogaka Ayuka

Dan Mogaka is an expert in Programmes, Planning, Monitoring, Evaluations and Reporting with over ten (10) years’ experience working within Public Health sector and Humanitarian emergency response programmes (focusing on, Emergencies, Disasters, Conflict and Recovery interventions). Currently Dan is the Word Health Organization (WHO) Technical Specialist (Covid-19 Surveillance and Contact Tracing) leading the WHO Covid-19 response in the Kenyan Coastal Counties, most recently Dan has been working with the WHO as NPO/Monitoring and Evaluation Officer covering UHC Pilot Implementation in Kenya (June 2019 - Mar 2020).
Prior to joining the WHO, Dan was working with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) supporting America Region as Planning Monitoring Evaluation and Reporting Delegate (June 2018 - May 2019) covering Caribbean countries. Prior to that he was working with IFRC Africa Regional Office as Senior PMER Officer- Performance Based Management (May 2017-May 2018). Dan also previously worked with Plan International as Senior M&E Coordinator (January 2015 – April 2017) and Kenya Red Cross Society as Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer (January 2009 – Dec 2014).
In addition, Dan has a wide experience in managing evaluations and use of innovation Humanitarian Programming. Dan Has a Bsc. Environmental Health Degree and Masters of Public Health in Monitoring and Evaluation.
